Hello wonderful friends!! I've FINALLY found a free minute to post a little more than just pics. Our sweet Elizabeth is now one week old, and it's hard to believe. Our family has been here with us making this week so much easier, and boy, have we needed it!
I was warned that the first week is the hardest, but I didn't believe it until now. It has been insane around here! Between doctor visits, 2am feedings, trying to heal, and just plain emotions and stress, it has been quite a journey.
But even through all of that, I fall more in love with my little girl every minute. She is just perfect in every way, and I couldn't be more blessed. Her daddy feels the exact same way, and we think we are the luckiest couple in the world.
Life is still hard, emotional, and tiring, but it's ALL worth it. And, things are slowly getting better and easier.
So thanks to all of you for your prayers, sweet messages, and support. We love you SO much, and can't wait to bring Elizabeth to Texas to meet everyone!
